Understanding the store settings
Under Settings, you can manage information used in the store, in orders, and in communications with your customers. You do not need to fill in everything at once. Start with the details relevant to your store and complete the rest as needed.
1. Password protection
Password protection restricts visitor access to the store. It is useful when you are building the store, making major changes, or want to keep the content private before launch. Turn off the protection when the store is ready to open to customers.
2. Store and company details
The store name is the name used for the store. The company name, address, postal code, city, country, and company registration number describe the company behind the business and may be needed in order information, documents, and customer communications. Make sure the details are correct and keep them updated if the company changes.
The country specifies where the business is based. It may affect how the store handles local settings and information displayed to customers.
3. Email and customer contact
The sender email is the address used when the store sends messages. The order confirmation email specifies where order confirmations should be sent. You can also enter one or more copy recipients, separated by commas, if additional people should receive the same message.
